Lia Head, MD

Dr. Head received her MD from the University of Washington in 2016. She went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Rush University. Dr. Head has a special interest in lung and gastrointestinal cancers. She believes that every patient is unique and needs an individualized treatment plan that takes in to account the whole person. Dr. Head understands that having cancer is an incredibly scary time in a person’s life. She wants her patients to be active participants in their care, helping them regain some of the control that cancer may have taken away.
