I usually go to the palm beach gardens location, but i found myself in delray beach today and tried this big als, different atmosphere, you eat outside, a great philly feel, but the food was spot on, everything was perfect and the staff…

Best steaks around by Ryan D via Insider Pages on 1/29/2011

this place is great, the staff are awesome and the food is very delicious. I can always come here and get a good meal no matter what.

I've had Pat's, Geno's, Jim's and many of the other famous Philly cheesesteaks and Big Al is pretty darn close. It's as close to being at 9th and Passyunk as you're going to get in South Florida.

Big Al's Steaks is like Philly in Florida!!! by Brad C via Insider Pages on 11/6/2009

As someone from Philadelphia I can say that I have been unable to find any more authentic Steak Sandwich (and I've been searching for 11 years since I moved to South Florida). As for Jim C.'s negative review, I can only assume that his…

Big Al's Steaks are blah... by Jim C via Insider Pages on 7/8/2009

I should have known what to expect of a steak from a place called "Big Al's" The meat was as cheep and off putting as the name. I would not recommend this place to anyone who is serious about their beef.
