Paul D Garrett, MD

Dr Garrett was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. He went on to complete his undergraduate degree at Millsaps College and then attended medical school at Tulane School of Medicine. Dr. Garrett entered active duty in the US Army in 1997 where he completed his Internal Medicine residency and cardiology Fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center where he then remained as faculty in the teaching program. While on active duty he was deployed as a battalion surgeon to Iraq in 2004 where he was awarded a Bronze Star for his service. In 2008, Dr. Garrett returned home to Baton Rouge to join Louisiana Cardiology Associates. He is Board Certified in cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine.
