Joe R. Nielsen, M.D.

Dr. Joe Nielsen was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and has chosen Utah as a place to proactive because of the many opportunities that exist here. He received his M.D. from the University Of Mew Mexico School Of Medicine in 1984 and completed an internship at Oregon Health Science University in Portland the following year. It was at that time he met his wife, Sylvia whose field of interest is interior design. After internship Dr Nielsen completed a three year residency in Dermatology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Dr Nielsen then passed the Board Certifying Exam for Dermatology.<br><br><br>Dr Nielsen has practiced and lived in Bountiful since 1988 along with his wife Sylvia and daughters Caroline and Sophia.
