Talk to your kids. Distinguish for them the importance of your work time & that you cannot be disturbed. Make sure they understand.
Create your work schedule around your kids. Stop work at a good pick up point when tending to obligations: pick up, feed, etc.
Keep work documents, supplies, records & computer out of reach from your kids & talk to them about staying out of your workspace.
Don't be afraid to ask for help. For important work projects or busy work days, ask a friend to help out with your kids.
Daily Overview: Working at home with kids is difficult, but gets easier once rules and a schedule are set.
